M-Dot

Multi-Award winning Boston (USA) lyricist/producer M-Dot is a seasoned veteran having toured Europe 13 times while working with Pete Rock, Method Man, DJ Premier, Conway The Machine, Kool G Rap & more. M-Dot has performed at the XGames in France (2010), placed music in NBC TV Shows (“The Black List”) as well as produced songs for Sundance Film Festival movies (“Montreal Girls”) and was a headliner at Czech Republic’s HIPHOP Kemp (2018). Over the years the blue collar syllable specialist has rocked shows with Wiz Khalifia, Kid Cudi, Slaughterhouse & more. The Boston MC was featured in a book on the Wu Tang Clan (“Deep in The Dark with the Art”). In 2017 M-Dot had the #1 selling vinyl in the rap underground (“UGHH” store) with ‘egO anD The eneMy’. Recently platinum artist Logic sampled M-Dot’s vocals on his album title track “Vinyl Days” (Def Jam). The latest album from M-Dot ‘egO anD The eneMy 2: A Dissolute Paradise’ (prod. by Apollo Brown, Black Milk, Erick Sermon, !llmind and more) is out now and the next album “Daze Of Greed” is right in the starting blocks with a 15th tour of Europe set for april 2024.

CHILL-ILL

Der gebürtige niederösterreichische HipHop-Artist CHiLL-iLL nimmt uns mit auf eine Zeitreise. Gesellschaftlich und persönlich. Nach mittlerweile mehr als 10 Tonträgern und vielen Nebenprojekten folgte mit Raum & Zeit das 3. Soloalbum mit mehreren nationalen und internationalen Features. Durch die in Eigenregie produzierten, samplebasierten Boombap-Beats, welche auf organische, instrumental ergänzte Sounds treffen, schafft CHiLL-iLL musikalische Synergien und überzeugt damit nicht nur lyrisch, sondern auch durch eingängige Hooks sowie breit gestreute Themengebiete am Puls der Zeit. Auf den 14 Tracks fängt dieser Longplayer verschiedene Lebensabschnitte ein und gewährt intime Einblicke in ein umtriebiges Künstlerdasein.

DA STAUMTISCH

Wo die Großstadt aufhört ihre Geschichten zu erzählen, findet da Staummtisch das Große im Kleinen und erhebt das Alltägliche zum Besonderen. Es geht um Haltung, ums Gewinnen und Verlieren, die eigene Vergänglichkeit und vor allem ums Prinzip. Hip Hop ist nicht tot, er hat es nur gerade nicht leicht.

Als Kinder der goldenen 90er, liefern Antrue, Roleee Solo und Freistil aus dem Linzer Tonträger Records–Lager seit beinahe 20 Jahren konsequent samplebasierten New York–Sound, der sich mit Dialekt-Rap á la Stahlstadt in ungeahnte Höhen aufschwingt – um dann in einem Hagel an Drumbreaks, Punchlines, Flowvariationen und eingängen Hooklines auf die loyale Hörerschaft niederzugehen.

Anlässlich der Nirwana-Tour wurden unlängst alle namhaften Häuser gerockt, da mit dem 6.Tonträger „Nirwana“ endlich wieder ein eigenes Studioalbum released wurde. Man merkt, Da Staummtisch befindet sich am Zenit seines Schaffens. Frei von Konventionen sind die drei MCs Regisseure ihres eigenen Films und laden die Hörer*innen ein, es ihnen gleich zu tun. Vielleicht ist das auch der Grund, warum sich auf „Nirwana“ auch Kollegen aus Übersee, Deutschland und Österreich die Klinke in die Hand geben.

SANE'S MEDICINE

The two Berlin-based musicians have known each other for longer than they can think. Having grown up together in a small city in Brandenburg, rooted in the most different genres and projects, they create their own vision of danceable Boombap with Sane's Medicine, projecting a parallel universe onto the mind's eye and ear with every song. Heavily processed samples meet live recorded keys, guitars, percussions and drums, combined with a healthy portion of madness.
